Organised under the umbrella of the European Federation for Medical Informatics (EFMI)\, the conference plays a key role in shaping Europe’s digital health research and policy landscape. \nAs discussions focus on data-driven healthcare\, interoperability standards and the implementation of the European Health Data Space (EHDS)\, XiA will contribute by promoting structured interoperability skills development and supporting the alignment of digital health competencies with evolving European frameworks. \nIn particular\, XiA will highlight the importance of: \n\nStrengthening digital and interoperability competencies across healthcare and research communities\nSupporting the practical implementation of European health data frameworks\, including EHDS\nBridging research\, standards and real-world digital health deployment\n\nXiA’s participation in MIE 2026 will contribute to reinforcing European dialogue on digital health transformation\, workforce readiness and sustainable interoperability implementation.
