European Digital Healthcare Excellency Forum 2026

XiA (Xpanding Innovative Alliance) will participate in the European Digital Healthcare Excellency Forum 2026, taking place on 2–3 March 2026 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

The forum brings together healthcare executives, digital transformation leaders, policymakers and technology providers to discuss strategic priorities for advancing digital health across Europe. As discussions focus on innovation, operational excellence and cross-sector collaboration, XiA will contribute by promoting interoperability skills development and supporting the implementation of the European Health Data Space (EHDS).

As Europe accelerates the digital transformation of healthcare systems, interoperability and workforce readiness remain critical enablers of sustainable innovation. XiA will emphasise the importance of translating European interoperability frameworks — including HL7 FHIR and EHDS-related specifications — into structured learning pathways, modular training programmes and recognised competencies across the healthcare ecosystem.

In particular, XiA will highlight the importance of:

• Strengthening structured interoperability competencies across healthcare professions
• Supporting hospitals and digital health providers in the operational implementation of EHDS requirements
• Bridging the gap between European digital health standards and real-world clinical practice

XiA’s participation in the European Digital Healthcare Excellency Forum 2026 will contribute to reinforcing European dialogue on digital health transformation, interoperability skills development and the sustainable implementation of the European Health Data Space.
