This eleventh and concluding session of the Hospitals on FHIR webinar series brings together the key insights from the EU Lab Report learning pathway and looks ahead to the next steps in laboratory interoperability.

Throughout the series, participants explored EHDS data domains, medical terminologies, HL7 FHIR foundations, implementation guides, logical models and mapping approaches. This final session synthesises the main lessons learned and highlights practical takeaways for hospitals and IT teams progressing towards structured, interoperable laboratory data exchange.

The webinar also introduces the strategic priorities and thematic focus for the coming year, outlining how the interoperability journey will continue beyond the EU Lab Report framework.
