This fifth session of the Hospitals on FHIR webinar series focuses on the Lab Logical Model and its role in structuring laboratory data to support interoperability and EHDS alignment.

As healthcare systems move towards consistent implementation of the EU Lab Report requirements, a clear logical representation of laboratory data becomes essential. The Lab Logical Model provides the conceptual structure needed to ensure that laboratory information is organised, exchanged and interpreted consistently across systems.

This 30-minute session explores how the Lab Logical Model supports semantic clarity, data consistency and practical interoperability implementation in hospital environments.

Building on previous sessions covering data domains, terminology, FHIR and implementation guides, this webinar further strengthens the structured pathway towards operational EHDS readiness.
