European Employment and Social Rights Forum 2026

XiA (Xpanding Innovative Alliance) will participate in the European Employment and Social Rights Forum 2026, taking place on 3–4 March 2026 in Brussels, Belgium.

Organised by the European Commission, the Forum is the EU’s flagship annual event on employment, social rights and social policy. The 2026 edition will focus on strengthening Europe’s social model, addressing labour shortages and supporting skills development across strategic sectors.

Within this context, XiA will contribute to discussions related to workforce development, digital transformation and the implementation of European frameworks supporting skills and interoperability in healthcare. As Europe advances the European Health Data Space (EHDS) and broader digital health initiatives, strengthening structured competencies remains essential to ensure sustainable transformation.

Through its participation, XiA will highlight the importance of:

• Strengthening structured digital and interoperability competencies across healthcare professions
• Supporting alignment between European policy frameworks and practical workforce implementation
• Bridging the gap between European skills strategies and real-world sectoral needs
